3 Beliefs Killing Your Personal Brand Growth
I need to look perfect
As women, we're often our worst critics. This belief is understandable to an extent – we want to look good and feel good.
Following that logic though, only supermodels should be out there and that is simply crazy, wouldn't you agree? And nobody's expecting you to be perfect, they expect you to help with your expertise.
By all means, wear clothes that make you feel amazing and give yourself some pampering self-care! But you don't need to be perfect, you need to:
show up and be approachable
communicate how you're helping
be passionate about your work
2. I don't want to promote myself, it's vain
Think about the last time you worked with someone because they were showing up in their brand. Did you think they were vain or did they give you a chance to get to know them better? Maybe you felt a connection because of similar fashion choices, life stages you're at, problems you're experiencing or even your pets?
There's a reason why content with people performs better online. We're all humans craving human connection. If you're hiding, people can't work with you.
3. I need to follow trends
Technology moves very fast, however always remember that while marketing and social media platforms have their goals, you should have your own goals.
Knowing what your brand is and sticking to that instead of jumping from trend to trend is more productive and will help you focus on business growth.
Be mindful how much of your attention you give to trends, especially if they're not giving you results in your business.

Little Luxuries
I’ve been wanting to write about little luxuries for a while. After all, during this difficult time self-care is more important than ever.
Treating yourself can be done in the comfort of your home and doesn’t have to mean chilling with Netflix, wine and chips.
Here are some of my favorite ways of treating myself. I saved the best for last!
PERFUME
Putting on great perfume can really help with your mood. Finding your favourite aromas can be exciting!
It’s good to switch them every once in a while. At the moment my combo is:
Day
Jo Malone Mimosa & Cardamom
Prada Candy
Evening
Hugo Boss Deep Red
CHOCOLATE
We all like to snack at the end of a difficult day. The key for me is finding snacks that aren’t too unhealthy. I love Lily’s chocolate (salted caramel is my absolute favourite) because it’s not a sugar bomb, it’s actually surprising how little calories it has.
LAVENDER EPSOM SALT
A relaxing bath + good book is a great combo, wouldn’t you agree? Lavender bath salt takes this experience to a new level.
TEA
A great cup of tea by your side makes any chore better. Tea Freak is one of my favorite brands because of amazing quality!
TENCEL SHEETS
I’m obsessed with these sheets, when I wake up I feel like I’m lying down in butter. They’re so soft! You can get tencel sheets from several places, including West Elm and Amazon.
I hope this blog gave you some ides on how to spoil yourself!
xoxo, Agnes

Spring Favorites 2021
Hello Spring!
This spring started for me with welcoming a new addition to our family, a very loving and fun kitty Bianca.
She is 8 months old, has white fur and blue eyes. She won our hearts immediately. She’s always curious, happy and ready to play, she even already took part in few photoshoots.
GREEN SKIRT
Let’s start this edition of spring favorites with fashion. This skirt from Simons was such a great purchase. I love green in general, so I wanted to add a green skirt to my collection.
BOOKS
I keep breaking my record of how many books I can consume… Reading is one of my favorite things to do, so obviously I’m reading a ton in quarantine. This time my two picks are incredible books, but they are both disturbing.
“My Dark Vanessa” by Kate Elizabeth Russell
Synopsis: Exploring the psychological dynamics of the relationship between a precocious yet naïve teenage girl and her magnetic and manipulative teacher, a brilliant, all-consuming read that marks the explosive debut of an extraordinary new writer.
“A House In The Sky” by Amanda Lindhout & Sara Corbett
Synopsis:
The dramatic and redemptive memoir of a woman whose curiosity led her to the world’s most beautiful and remote places, its most imperiled and perilous countries, and then into fifteen months of harrowing captivity—an exquisitely written story of courage, resilience, and grace.
QUOTE
Whenever you’re doubting yourself or have imposter syndrome, use this reminder. Put in the work and enjoy the results. Rinse and repeat. Don’t question yourself, just put in the work and watch all the good things unfolding. You got this!
COFFEE
I recently changed my morning coffee to Balzac’s espresso. It’s velvety smooth and has an incredible aroma. I truly love starting my day with it.
I hope you find those spring favourites inspiring, enjoy your spring!
xoxo, Agnes
