STUDIO POLICY
COMPENSATION. Projects valid only on payment of the amounts specified in the Studio Price List. Add-on orders, upgrades or special services cannot and will not be delivered until the balance due is paid in full. Failure by the Client to make scheduled payments may be deemed a material breach of the Client-Photographer agreement. In the event of material breach, the Photographer may cancel the agreement and be relieved from any further obligation of performance.
RESCHEDULING OF YOUR APPOINTMENTS. We kindly ask you to always check you are available for your appointments. Due to the nature of our work and multiple vendors being scheduled, rescheduling and cancellations are subject to additional fees. Please note that we reserve the right to decline projects that have been rescheduled more than twice.
APPOINTMENT TIME. All projects and meetings take place during allocated time. Failure to attend to an appointment on time will result in a shorter appointment time.
LUNCH BREAK. Please note for photoshoots longer than 4 hours, we require a 1 hour lunch break.
COPYRIGHT DETAILS. The Photographer owns the copyright to all images in accordance with Canadian law. We would like to remind clients that any copyright violations will result in a charge equivalent to fifteen (15) times the image rates at the time of the violation, as calculating actual damages would be challenging.
ARCHIVING PHOTO SHOOTS. The order is archived by the Photographer. Images that are not purchased will not be archived.
ADDITIONAL EDITING REQUESTS. Photographer agrees to apply portrait editing/retouching changes during the reveal meeting. Any additional retouching/design changes have to be scheduled during office hours and are subject to additional fees.
THE REVEAL. Order selection takes place by appointment only during the Reveal. All decision makers need to be present.
INTEREST CHARGES AND COLLECTION. Unpaid balances may incur an interest charge of 2 percent (2%) per month. Storage of photo orders is $20 per month. The Photographer deletes projects unpaid after 90 days.
CONTRACT TERMINATION. The Photographer reserves the right to terminate the contract if there is criminal activity or harassment, stalking, intimidation, bullying etc.
IMAGE USE BY PHOTOGRAPHER. The Photographer may use the images for commercial and promotional purposes.
THIRD PARTY VENDORS. The Photographer is not responsible for services rendered by third party vendors (hair & make-up artists, stylists etc.)
LIABILITY WAIVER. By participating in a photoshoot, you release Pure Studios from any liability, claims, demands, or actions that may arise from an injury or illness during your participation. Please communicate any pre-existing conditions or injuries, so we can accommodate you. Bringing minors/pets/other people to the studio needs to be discussed before the photoshoot and may not be guaranteed.
FILMING: STUDIO POLICY. During Brand Photoshoots our focus is on photography. Filming is not allowed unless limited to taking few behind the scenes items as it results in losing shooting time and is disruptive to the photography process.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Once you receive digital images that you purchase, please know there is a no exchange and no refund policy.
COMMUNICATION. Please use e-mail for all communication to minimize the chances of info being lost, overlooked, confused etc., avoid text, whatsapp, dm and communication via different social media platforms. All communication is done during office hours.
