Are you an Entrepreneur over 40 ready to step into your power? This photoshoot is for you:
1. all black
Everybody’s favourite colour is great for a fall brand photoshoot.
To make it more interesting, it’s good to explore different silhuettes, necklines and fabrics.
2. jeans
Jeans never go out of style and they help look approachable.
If it's approprate for your profession, bring jeans + top to your Brand Photoshoot! For business casual looks, jeans can be combined with blazers and shirts or blouses.
3. monochromatic looks
Want to know a secret?
A monochromatic look is a great way to look put together, even if your outfit is quite casual.
For fall, even if you’re wearing cozy pieces, a monochromatic look will still give it that air of professionalism.
4. pop of colour
A pop of colour will always stop the scroll and make people look closer and longer - it simply has that wow factor.
If you have a strong colour in your branding, consider wearing it for your photoshoot.
5. sweaters
Sweaters are an obvious choice for fall photoshoots!
With oversized sweaters, proper posing is required so they don’t make you look too bulky.
6. bright colours
It’s not true you cannot wear bright colours for fall and winter photoshoots.
As long as the fabrics are season appropriate, bright outfits are always in.
7. turtlenecks
Turtlenecks frame our faces beautifully, which works perfectly for photos.
Depending on the fabric and sleeve length, you can wear them all seasons.
In the fall, it’s great to explore different colours.
Maxi skirts are also in!
8. dresses
Don’t forget about dresses!
It’s such a feminine, approachable look and there are hundreds of colours and silhuettes to choose from.
9. white shirt
Just because it’s fall, it doesn’t mean you can’t wear a beautiful, timeless white shirt. It never goes out of style.
Combine it with more seasonal pieces, like a leather skirt or tailored pants for a more ‘fall’ look.
bonus: get creative with pants!
Gone are the times when only one style of pants is in.
When you’re shopping, explore and ask staff what type of silhuette will work best for you.

“I strongly recommend Agnes Kiesz as the best personal branding photographer. Entrepreneurs who need professional photos for marketing must connect with her!
Recently I went through Agnes’ entire process: consultation, photo shoot and reveal. Her professionalism and commitment to impeccable work was evident in all sessions, as well as during her email communications and delivery of photos.
I’m thrilled with my photos, and I enjoyed the experience of the photo shoot more than I expected! Hair and make-up, arranged by Agnes for the day of the shoot, as well as a relaxed and supportive atmosphere in her studio, made the photo shoot special. It was an “event” for me! Agnes ensured I was comfortable having my photos taken, offered helpful suggestions, and never rushed the process.
I can’t imagine a better experience, or better professional to get this job done. On top of this, Agnes is warm, creative, smart person. I look forward to working with her again!”

In therapy, connection and trust are foundational. As a mental health professional, your online presence should reflect the warmth, empathy, and approachability that you bring to your practice.
Here are five key ways to use photos to strengthen that connection and create a humanized experience for potential clients:
Website
Your website is your digital home. Authentic, professional photos throughout your site — the first photo on the website, the “about” page or on your blog — allow clients to get a sense of who you are beyond just credentials. Images that reflect your compassionate and thoughtful approach can make clients feel understood and safe before their first session.
2. Your Google My Business Page
Clients searching for local therapists often land on Google first. A clear, personable image on your Google listing not only enhances credibility but also helps clients feel a sense of connection before they even explore your services further.
The first photo is incredibly important here. It should not be a photo of the building where your practice is located. Instead, ideally post a photo of you at work or an approachable headshot.
3. Your Psychology Today Profile
Your Psychology Today profile is often where clients start searching for a therapist. A professional, inviting photo here can instantly convey your empathy and openness, making clients feel more at ease with reaching out to you for help. Avoid selfies and unprofessional, unclear photos. The focus here should be on your expression, empathy and professionalism.
4. Your Email Signature
Adding your photo to your email signature personalizes every correspondence, especially with current or prospective clients. In a field where trust and rapport are key, showing your face can create a more comforting, human touch to what might otherwise feel like a formal communication.
5. Social Media
In today’s world, clients often seek out therapists on social media to gain a deeper understanding of their style and philosophy. Sharing relatable, candid photos that showcase your practice’s vibe allows clients to see you as approachable and human—someone they can turn to for support!
