I was so excited to work with Sandeep Sohal again on updating her real estate photos. She rocked her photoshoot just after successfully wrapping a challenging real estate transaction. Being a wife, mother and a professional is not easy so kudos to all women who are doing their very best every single day!

September is here! August and September are actually my two favorite months for outdoor photoshoots. Thanks to cooler temperatures we don’t get tired and sweaty so easily, light is slightly less harsh and our make-up doesn’t run… These are all things that make lifestyle outdoor photoshoots way more productive and successful.

For this photoshoot with Cathy from Pink Avocado Nutrition we did a ton of fun things including a picnic in a nearby park and a trip to a great local grocery store Apple Factory.

Here are some Perfect Picnic tips from Cathy:

  1. Check the weather!

  2. Keep the food as simple as possible, pick up prepared foods and snacks, pre-cut fruits. Crackers, grapes, cheese are great snacks.

  3. Carefully pack one real knife—a camping knife if you have one—and have it handy in case there’s baguette to be sliced. I wrap mine in tea towels, handy and a little safer.
