USING YOUR BRAND PHOTOS

You now have beautiful marketing photos of yourself. They are an amazing marketing resource for your business.

Brand photos are photos of you in a professional setting that show you as a professional and communicate the value of what you do. They should be accompanied by captions and copy that show you as an expert and attract ideal clients. It’s extremely important to show photos of you and not just stock photos, so people connect this expertise directly to you instead of getting value but not connecting it to you/your company.

For social media, please remember that if you want people to remember you and know who you are, it is simply not enough to only show your face in your profile photo. When building a personal brand, use a photo of yourself at least once every 9/12 posts (preferably 9!).

It’s totally ok that you’re posting a photo several times in colour and black & white. Sometimes business owners look at influencers and think they need to create an overwhelming amount of content. For business owners, it’s totally ok to repeat outfits and photos, it makes you memorable.

Sometimes professionals get stuck in fear mentality and think “who am I to post photos of myself consistently? People will think I’m vain”. Marketing photos of you are posted so people can see you as a committed professional and tie expertise/content you’re posting to you and your company. Posts accompanying your photos should attract ideal clients and repel those you don’t want to work with.
